Denny Hamlin: Wins the YellaWood 500
Hamlin won the YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Sunday offered up one of the wildest Talladega races in recent memory. The YellaWood 500 featured a whopping 58 lead changes and no less than five multi-car accidents. The closing laps would be the wildest of the day with NASCAR having to go to three overtimes to decide a winner. Hamlin rose to the challenge by leading 26 total laps for the day and coming from sixth-place at the white flag to capture the win. It was his seventh victory of the season and second-career Talladega win.
