It was another heartbreaking finish for 18-year-old Erik Jones on Friday night in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

For the second weekend in a row, Jones, in his No. 4 Toyota, had a disappointing finish to a stellar race. Jones led 88-of-134 laps in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but couldn't hold off pole-sitter Kasey Kahne in a side-by-side photo finish.

Kahne edged Jones by just 0.005 seconds, tied for the second-closest margin of victory in series history, according to NASCAR.

"It just sucks. I don't know what to say," Jones told reporters. "It just really, really hurts. I can't believe it, man. I really wanted this one, and it's hard to come home second."

Jones led 151-of-167 laps last weekend at Kansas Speedway, but ran out of fuel late in the race. He finished 11th.
