Erik Jones tops practice in Truck Series at Gateway

Erik Jones was the fastest truck in the Camping World Truck Series practice at Gateway Motorsports Park on Saturday.
Jones, in his No. 4 Toyota, flew around the 1.25-mile oval at 136.766 mph ahead of the American Ethanol presents the Drivin' for Linemen 200 brought to you by Ameren.
The 19-year-old was followed by Cole Custer (136.591 mph), Matt Crafton (136.579 mph), Johnny Sauter (136.285 mph), and Brandon Jones (136.240 mph).
Tyler Reddick, who is 25 points behind Crafton in the points standings, was sixth fastest (136.050 mph).
John Wes Townley had the fastest lap at 135.518 mph.
Jones has six top-five starts in seven races in the Truck Series, including two poles, but has yet to win.
