Brehanna Daniels made history at Dover International Speedway in June when she became the first African-American woman to pit a car in a national NASCAR series race.
The 24-year-old Virginia native, who played college basketball at Norfolk State before becoming a tire changer, joined ESPN's "Outside the Lines" on Tuesday and was asked what message she would share with those hoping to follow in her footsteps.
Daniels was also featured in a new series by the CNN-backed Great Big Story.
