Harvick takes FireKeepers Casino 400 with OT victory
Kevin Harvick held off Brad Keselowski in overtime following a caution-filled finish to win the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday.
It's Harvick's fifth Cup Series win of the season, and third checkered flag at Michigan in the last three years, according to The Associated Press.
There were several restarts and cautions at the end of the race, including a red flag with five laps to go. As a result, NASCAR's new "choose" rule - forcing drivers to pick a lane during a caution ahead of the restart - was seen in action for the first time.
Martin Truex Jr. finished third behind Keselowski, while Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch rounded out the top five.
Michigan International Speedway will host another Cup Series race on Sunday.
