Austin Dillon clinched the final Cup Series playoff spot with a nail-biting victory in a wild Coke Zero Sugar 400 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach on Sunday.

Dillon's victory means Ryan Blaney also clinched a spot in the playoffs by three points. Martin Truex Jr. made a late charge but was eliminated from postseason contention after finishing in seventh place.

Sunday's race, a rare 10 a.m. ET start following Saturday's rainout, was hectic and wild right to the end. A massive crash with 23 laps to go took out a large chunk of the field. The red flag, combined with even more rain, put the race into another delay that lasted several hours.

Dillon held the lead when things finally got going again. He held steady from there, pacing the depleted field over the final 20-plus laps to enter the playoff picture.

Tyler Reddick finished second Sunday, 0.128 seconds behind his teammate. Austin Cindric, Landon Cassill, and Noah Gragson rounded out the top five.
