Stewart Friesen: Wins Nashville Truck Pole

Friesen won the pole for the Rackley Roofing 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Nashville Superseedway Friday. He turned a fast lap of 158.980 mph.

Analysis:

The veteran driver picked up quite a bit of speed from his earlier practice and advanced into the final round of qualifying. Friesen registered an eye-popping near-160 mph lap of the Nashville oval and beat out Grant Enfinger to claim the pole position. It was his first pole of the season and fourth of his truck series career. Friesen will challenge the Top 5 Friday night in the Rackley Roofing 200.
