Michael Annett: Wins Daytona Xfinity Race
Annett won the Racing Experience 300 Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway Saturday afternoon.
Analysis:
Annett would find some Daytona magic Saturday and collect his first-career Xfinity Series win after eight seasons of competition in this division of NASCAR. For the JRM driver, things would turn positive during the final stage where he would pilot the No. 1 Chevrolet to the front. Annett would lead a race-high 45 laps during the stretch run to the finish, and with the help of teammate, Justin Allgaier, defending his back bumper. He would cross the finish line first to pick up his first victory in his 230th series start.
