Tyler Reddick: Wins Xfinity Series Championship
By virtue of winning the Ford EcoBoost 300 Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway Saturday, Reddick has clinched the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
Analysis:
This was an incredible race, which was a battle between several drivers not only for the win but for the championship. Reddick would lead the first 33 laps from the pole, but wouldn't lead again until lap 105. Austin Cindric and Christopher Bell would both take several turns at the front early. Reddick would hang inside the Top 5 and make a final push into the lead on lap 182. His pass of Cole Custer would be the race winning and championship winning move with 19 laps to go. It was his sixth victory of the season, and Reddick wins his second-career Xfinity Series title.
