Allgaier won the Alsco Uniforms 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway Monday night.

Analysis:

Rain over the weekend delayed the running of this race by two days. The veteran driver would be undeterred despite the late hours Monday that this race would finish. Allgaier led a race-high 83 laps and ran away from John Hunter Nemechek by almost 8-seconds in the closing laps to secure the victory. It was his first win of the season and 20th-career victory in this division of NASCAR.
