Cole Custer: Third in Alsco Uniforms 302

Custer finished third in the Alsco Uniforms 302 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Haas Racing veteran started on the outside pole and led 62 laps for the day. Custer would take the win in stage 1 and finish runner-up in stage 2. He would battle among the leaders the full distance. However, Custer could not reel in the No. 98 Ford down the stretch. He would hold off Chandler Smith to claim the strong third-place finish. it was Custer's 13th Top 5 of the season.
