Alex Bowman: Top-5 Finish at COTA

Bowman finished fourth in the Echopark Texas Grand Prix NASCAR Cup Series race at Circuit of the Americas Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Bowman continued his good record at Circuit of the Americas. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet started mid-pack after a disappointing qualifying effort. Still, Bowman would patiently race his way through the field to break into the Top 10 by stage 3. The long green-flag run to the finish would see the Top 3 take off and leave the field with a big gap to Bowman. He would hold Tyler Reddick at bay to claim the strong fourth-place finish. It was Bowman's third Top-5 finish of the season.
