Bubba Wallace: Fifth-Place at the Brickyard
Wallace finished fifth in the Brickyard 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Wallace grabbed his first Top-5 finish since April with a strong performance Sunday on the Indianapolis oval. The 23XI Racing veteran came from the mid pack to race into the Top 10 by stage 2. Wallace would lead 26 laps, win that stage and hold onto the track position gained to race inside the Top 5 down the stretch. The double overtime restarts would make things interesting late, but Wallace would hang onto fifth-place for the strong performance. It was his fourth Top 5 of the season.
