Zilisch won the pole for the Focused Health 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Circuit of The Americas on Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 88.832 mph.

Zilisch carried his good practice speed right into qualifying Friday at the Austin road course. The young driver edged Ross Chastain to capture the pole position for the Focused Health 250. It was his second pole in as many road course starts. Zilisch will be tough to beat Saturday at Circuit of the Americas.
