Bubba Wallace: Third in Cook Out 400

Wallace finished third in the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The 23XI Racing veteran started among the Top 10 and raced there all afternoon in this 400-lap short track battle. Wallace would push inside the Top 5 to end stage 2 and that would set him up with great track position down the stretch. The driver of the No. 23 Toyota held off Chase Elliott in the closing laps to secure his second Top 5 of the season.
