Daniel Hemric: Third in Black's Tire 200

Hemric finished third in the Black's Tire 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Rockingham Speedway on Friday evening.

Analysis:

Hemric once again showed his short track skill Friday at the Rock. He patiently drive his way from 17th on the starting grid to break into the Top 10 late in this 200-lap battle. While Hemric would just lead a single lap he'd try to become a factor in the outcome of this race. However, he didn't have the strategy to catch the race leader in the closing laps and would have to settle for the impressive third-place finish. It was Hemric's third Top 5 of the season.
