Connor Zilisch: Wins Rockingham Xfinity Pole
Zilisch still won the pole for the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Rockingham Speedway on Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 149.536 mph.
Analysis:
The driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet advanced into the final round of qualifying and dealt with a tire going down during his qualifying run to post a strong lap at Rockingham Speedway. Zilisch edged Parker Retzlaff to claim the pole position for Saturday's Xfinity race. It was his third pole of the season and fourth-career pole position. Unfortunately, Zilisch will have to drop to the rear of the field for the start of the race due to changing the flat tire after qualifying.
