William Byron: Talladega Top-5 Finish
Byron finished fourth in the Jack Link's 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Byron continued his strong recent performance on the big ovals Sunday at Talladega. He led three times for 10 laps and made his presence felt among the leaders at times. Byron snatched a runner-up finish to end stage 1 and foreshadowed what he would do later in the race. The Hendrick Motorsports star would push Ryan Preece to the runner-up finish on the final lap and collect a strong fourth-place finish for himself. It was his fifth Top 5 of the season.
