Christopher Bell: Fifth in Toyota / Save Mart 350
Bell finished fifth in the Toyota / Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Joe Gibbs Racing star started inside the Top 10 and would race there most of the day in this 110-lap road racing battle. Bell could only manage to lead 1 lap during green-flag pit stops. However, he would maintain a presence among the leaders the rest of the way. Bell would shore up his position inside the Top 5 over the final 20 laps and would hold off Tyler Reddick to grab his eighth Top 5 of the season.
