Chase Briscoe: Hits Wall Late
Briscoe brought the No. 19 car home 12th in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway after a late issue.
Analysis:
Briscoe was running in the Top 5 late in the race when contact from Riley Herbst sent him into the wall. He was able to limp home 12th, but it could have been a much better day for a driver who sits just 22nd in the point standings. Briscoe's inability to bring the No. 19 car home in one piece this season has been an issue, but now he heads to a Martinsville track where he has six Top 10s in 10 starts.
