Ryan Preece: Fades After Strong Run

Preece ran near the front at times, but settled for a 13th-place finish in Sunday's Goodyear 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington.

Analysis:

Preece and his RFK Racing teammates, Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher, all ran together in the Top 3 at one point, but Preece's car faded as the day went on, especially after losing a number of spots on pit road. He eventually ended up finishing 13th. Up next is Martinsville, a track where Preece recorded Top-10 finishes in both races last season.
