Blaney brought his Penske Racing Ford home in eighth place in the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.
Analysis:
Blaney, who started Sunday's race in 19th, spent much of the day running outside of the Top-10, but the No. 12 car found some speed late in the race, with Blaney ultimately placing eighth on the day. Blaney currently sits third in points and is the only Penske car in the Top 15 of the overall standings. Next for the Cup Series is a trip to Pocono, where Blaney has two victories, with the most recent coming in 2024.
