Suarez turned in a strong 184+ mph lap in his No. 41 Ford and blew away the field in this qualifying session. The young Stewart Haas Racing driver beat out teammate, Aric Almirola, to claim the top starting spot for Saturday night's race at the Kentucky oval. It was his first pole position of the season and second of his career.
