Pair of courtside seats at Kobe's final game sold for $55K
Kobe Bryant will play the final game of his career Wednesday in Los Angeles against the Utah Jazz, and the cost of bearing witness to that spectacle in person has shot through the roof and up into the stratosphere.
Some courtside seats at Staples Center are evidently being sold on the secondary market, and at least two of them have already fetched a stunning price:

The average price for a StubHub ticket to the game is $971, and the cheapest seat is currently going for $700, Rovell reports.
One hopes, for the sake of the diehards meeting those astronomical asking prices, that Bryant and the Lakers put forth a better performance than they did last time they played the Jazz, when they were handed a 123-75 loss that equaled a franchise record for margin of defeat. Bryant scored five points on 1-of-11 shooting in the game, while registering a career-worst minus-44 net rating.
