"Starbury" has found a home in China.
Since moving overseas in 2009, ex-NBA point guard Stephon Marbury has grown into a superstar after winning three championships with the Beijing Ducks.
Statues have been erected. There's a museum in his honor. Marbury has a stamp with his face on it. There's even a play about his life. And finally, Marbury has been granted permanent residency, according to the New York Times.

Immigration laws in China are rather strict: only 5,000 foreigners have been given what is essentially a green card. Marbury is the only basketball player to receive such an honor.
