Durant ties record for most missed field goals in playoff game

It was an off-night for one of the best scorers in the league, to say the least.
Kevin Durant shot 7-of-33 from the field in Monday's Game 2 loss against the Dallas Mavericks. He missed a potential game-winning layup at the buzzer and clanked two open looks on the previous possession.

His 26 missed ties Michael Jordan for most field-goals missed since 1984, according to Basketball Reference.
At the very least, Jordan still poured in 29 points in his forgettable 9-of-35 shooting performance against the Miami Heat in 1997. Durant managed just 21 points Monday as his Thunder fell to 1-1 in their heavily favored first-round matchup.
