Twitter reacts to Wade's Game 6 performance
Dropping three-straight games after going up 2-0 on the Charlotte Hornets, the Miami Heat needed to pull out all the stops in Game 6 to send their best-of-seven series to a winner-take-all Game 7.
All-Star guard Dwyane Wade ensured his team didn't end their season at Time Warner Cable Arena on Friday night, scoring eight of the Heat's last 10 points, including two huge 3-pointers - his first since Dec. 16 of last year - late in the fourth quarter to give Miami a 97-90 road win.
In 36 minutes, the 34-year-old scored 23 points on an efficient 10-of-20 shooting, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out four assists. Wade also finished with three rejections, setting a new league record by passing Michael Jordan for the most blocks by a guard in the postseason during his career in NBA history.
Social media blew up watching the three-time NBA champion pull out all the stops with so much at stake. Players, media personalities, and fans alike praised Wade's showing, including teammate Chris Bosh, who had the best seat in the house on the Heat's bench.

Days after going on a Twitter rant believing her husband had been fouled late in Game 5, Wade's wife, Gabrielle Union, had plenty to smile about following the huge victory.
