Cavaliers tease Kevin Love with introduction of 'Lil Kev'
Aside from playing the 3-and-D role off the bench, 35-year-old Richard Jefferson's place on the Cleveland Cavaliers is to keep everyone lighthearted.
Of late, Jefferson has brought the team together through Snapchat. Not only is he giving fans a rare behind-the-scenes look, he's also become a master storyteller.
His latest creation? Lil' Kev.
"Lil' Kev, he's special," Jefferson told ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Lil' Kev is a cutout character concocted by Jefferson, who saw a model in a Tommy Bahama advertisement that strongly resembled teammate Kevin Love.
"We were messing with Kev and we ripped it out (from the magazine) and we started doing stuff with it," Jefferson said. "From there, I just kept the paper and just started doing weird s--- with it."
Lil' Kev is a recurring character in Jefferson's Snapchat stories. Here's a compilation.
