Hassan Whiteside suffers right knee sprain in Game 3
The Miami Heat lost center Hassan Whiteside early in the second quarter of Game 3 against the Toronto Raptors, after he re-injured his right knee.
Whiteside, who injured the knee on an awkward fall in Game 1, hurt it again after being fouled under the basket by Kyle Lowry, and having teammate Luol Deng fall on top of him.

Whiteside limped to the sideline and had to be helped to the locker room. X-rays came back negative, and the injury was called a sprain.
He did not return to the game, and has an MRI scheduled for Sunday.
Whiteside told reporters after the game that though it was the same knee he injured in Game 1, he didn't think the two instances were related.
"My knee went two different ways," he said of the play.
The 26-year-old averaged 11 points, 14.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and two blocks in the first two games of the series. He had six points on 2-of-2 shooting before departing Game 3.
