Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic was retroactively assessed a technical foul by the league office Wednesday for his actions in Monday's Game 4 against the Toronto Raptors.
Dragic swung his arms and struck Raptors point guard Cory Joseph in a battle for a rebound. No foul was called during the game.
Here's the play:
Fortunately for both players, Dragic's wild swing only appeared to graze Joseph's face. Had he connected, it could have been a repeat of what happened in last year's playoffs when J.R. Smith injured Jae Crowder with a similar move.
Any damage sustained by Joseph is nothing compared to the multiple beatings that Dragic has endured this season.
