'Inside the NBA' inducted into Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame

Kenny Smith finally got a taste of the Hall of Fame - just not of the one in Springfield, Mass.
Smith, along with fellow panelists Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal, host Ernie Johnson, and everyone else involved in "Inside the NBA" were inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame on Wednesday.

Two representatives from the Hall of Fame made an appearance on the show to give the crew the announcement and an invitation to the award ceremony.
Now in its 27th season, "Inside the NBA" is widely considered the best basketball program in existence. It's won nine Emmy Awards, including three studio host honors for Johnson and two studio analyst Emmys for Barkley.
