Dragic's monster game inspired by not wanting to go back to Europe
Goran Dragic's motivation for his breakout performance in Game 6 was based on the fact that he had little desire to go home for the summer.
"I don't want to go back to Europe," Dragic told reporters following the Miami Heat's 103-91 win over the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
The Slovenian scored a playoff career-high 30 points on 12-of-21 shooting to go with seven rebounds and four assists to help Miami improve to 6-0 in its last six elimination games.
"I knew that this guy to my left, Goran, was going to have an amazing game tonight," Dwyane Wade said at the postgame press conference. "He was great."
Dragic had been averaging 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists through the first six games of the series.
Game 7 goes Sunday afternoon in Toronto.
