Watch: NBA's Warriors-Thunder promo will cure your Spurs sadness
The San Antonio Spurs' premature playoff exit tugged at many a heartstring - particularly as the great Tim Duncan slunk dolefully off the court, possibly for the last time - and fans were denied the Western Conference finals clash that seemed promised to them after the Spurs and Golden State Warriors completed two of the greatest regular seasons in history.
Instead, the Warriors will face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the NBA would like to remind you that things could be worse. In fact, the league's promo for the impending series will make you want to fast-forward the next 30-odd hours of your life. It'll remind you of the epic regular-season tilts these two teams had - from the Thunder erasing a 20-point deficit (only to lose anyway), to the Warriors overcoming an 11-point deficit in the last five minutes before winning in overtime on Steph Curry's 38-foot world-ender.
This promo will give you chills. It'll make you want to inject this series into your bloodstream, or have it imprinted on the inside of your eyelids. It will make you really excited about this series, is what we're saying.
