Back at Oracle Arena after a disastrous trip to Oklahoma City, the Warriors looked a bit more Warriors-y early in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, particularly on this defense-to-offense sequence in Thursday's first quarter.
The slumping Draymond Green shook off a couple cobwebs with a vicious block on Russell Westbrook at the rim, spiking his layup attempt off the backboard and right into the hands of Steph Curry. Curry immediately turned upcourt and started the break, then stopped on a dime at the 3-point line, stepped through after a pump fake, and nailed the tough long jumper.
Further proof that Green may be getting his swagger back after two miserable games: He lingered over Westbrook for a few beats after the block.
