LeBron delivers locker room speech following series win
For the sixth year in a row, a LeBron James-led team will be making its way to the NBA Finals after the Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night.
Though he's competed for a championship so many times, James doesn't allow himself to take those moments for granted, which is the message he relayed to his teammates in a postgame speech Friday night.
"It's not promised," James said. "We're fortunate enough to be one of 30 teams to move on to the next round, alright? It's beautiful, man."
Even though the real challenge will come in the next round against either the Oklahoma City Thunder or Golden State Warriors, James wanted the Cavs to soak in the moment of becoming Eastern Conference champions and celebrate how far they've come.
