The Placer County Sheriff's Office said officers were called to a home in Granite Bay, Calif., on Monday at 1 a.m., after a woman reported she was being assaulted inside the residence.
Deputies found that she had visible injuries, and arrested Collison on a domestic violence charge. He was additionally booked for two misdemeanor warrants, totaling $7,500, for driving with a suspended licence. He has since been released from jail.
Collison, who inked a three-year, $16-million deal with the Kings in 2014, appeared in 74 games for Sacramento this season.
