While they're currently on opposite sides of the hardwood in the NBA Finals, there was once a time when Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors were teammates.

The two All-Stars competed together on a Little League baseball team in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Love grew up in the area, while Thompson spent 12 years of his childhood there after his family moved when he was 2.

Klay's brothers, Mychel and Trayce, were also on the team. Trayce is currently an outfielder on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"All three of those brothers were different in terms of their personalities," Love told NBA.com's Shaun Powell. "Klay was always very soft spoken, very stoic. But he knew he belonged. He had a quiet confidence about him."

Thompson said: "Kevin was a better play than me, and maybe the best on the team, but he was also older. So he had an edge."
