Top prospect Brandon Ingram is set to give the Philadelphia 76ers a private workout Monday, the team announced.
Ingram is widely projected as one of two favorites to go first overall. The 18-year-old averaged 17.3 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 41 percent from deep as a freshman at Duke and has drawn comparisons to Kevin Durant for his willowy frame and deft shooting touch.
Last month, Ingram met with Sixers general manager Bryan Colangelo at the NBA Draft Combine for a private interview.
The Sixers, however, are said to be "leaning heavily" toward picking LSU product Ben Simmons with the No. 1 pick. The hyper-athletic Simmons averaged 19.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists in his freshman campaign.
