Steph Curry's used mouthguard expected to get $5K at auction
If you've ever wanted to own one of Steph Curry's game-used mouthguards, here's your chance.
SCP Auctions told ESPN's Darren Rovell the company received the mouthguard from a fan who found it on the floor after a Golden State Warriors game this season and will put it up for auction Aug. 3.
Dan Imler, vice president of the California-based auction house, expects the mouthguard to fetch at least $5,000.
"Steph Curry has given more life to mouthguards than any player in history," Imler said. "The way he flips it in and out of his mouth has become part of watching him during a game."

Muhammad Ali's mouthpiece from his final fight was auctioned off for $6,700 in 2013, while a piece of gum chewed by Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Luis Gonzalez was sold in an online auction for $10,000 in 2002.
