The Philadelphia 76ers are working hard to land a second lottery pick.
The Sixers have recently had "significant engagement" with the Boston Celtics (No. 3 pick), Minnesota Timberwolves (No. 5), and Sacramento Kings (No. 8), sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Philadelphia's talks with Boston are currently ongoing, and earlier reports suggest the Sixers may be willing to part with either Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel to land the third overall pick.
The Sixers already own the No. 1 pick, and all signs point toward them drafting LSU phenom Ben Simmons. They would still need a starting point guard should they choose Simmons, and could use a second lottery selection to fill the void.
