LeBron James brought an NBA title to Akron, Ohio, and now the city is paying him back.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star returned home Thursday to celebrate in the community that raised him. "Akron is home," James told an estimated crowd of 30,000 people, according to the Akron Beacon Journal.

Having already given the three-time MVP a key to the city, Akron mayor Dan Horrigan gifted James his own street, as South Main Street was renamed King James Way.
"Every king has a kingdom and every kingdom must have roads," Horrigan told the crowd.
