The Orlando Magic have agreed to terms with restricted free agent shooting guard Evan Fournier on a five-year, $85-million contract extension.
The Magic would have had the right to match any offer for the 23-year-old Frenchman, and the team had made it a priority to retain him under new coach Frank Vogel.
Fournier averaged a career-high 15.4 points per game and 40 percent 3-point shooting last season.
