Lue says Cavs hope to visit White House before Obama leaves office
It's generally not up to a championship sports team to decide when their White House visit is scheduled - what with the epicenter of the free world's government being busy and all - but Tyronn Lue tells Bleacher Report Radio that the Cleveland Cavaliers "definitely will" visit 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. before President Barack Obama leaves office.
.Tyronn Lue says the Cavs are making an extreme effort to get to the White House before Obama leaves office.

Historically, it takes teams that win titles more than a few months to get around to the traditional White House visit. The 2015 NBA champion Golden State Warriors didn't make the trip until Feb. 4 of this year, while they were in Washington to play the Wizards.

Obama is officially in office until the morning of the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20. The 2016-17 NBA schedule is not released until late July or early August, so consider Lue's comments as perhaps a plea to get the Wiz on their road schedule before mid-January.
