Melo wants athletes to 'demand change' in wake of Dallas shootings

Deeply troubled by Thursday's deadly police shootings in Dallas, Texas, Carmelo Anthony took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the devastating incident, pleading with other athletes to use their power and influence to "demand change."
"Shooting 11 cops and killing 5 will not work," Anthony wrote. "While I don't have a solution, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't have a solution, we need to come together more than anything at this time."

Melo wasn't the only NBA star to speak out following the shootings, as LeBron James tweeted his thoughts early Friday morning.
