The Miami Heat acquired forward Luke Babbitt from the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday in exchange for a 2018 second-round pick and cash considerations.
ESPN's Marc Stein was the first to report the trade.
Miami originally acquired New Orleans' 2018 second-round draft pick in the Feb. 18, 2016 trade involving Jarnell Stokes.

Babbitt averaged 7.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game last season, shooting 40.4 percent from 3-point range.
The 27-year-old's salary for the upcoming season becomes fully guaranteed Tuesday.
Miami appears intent on improving its frontcourt depth, and can now consider Babbitt's 3-point shooting among its assets.
