Cornrows were once quite the popular hairstyle among NBA players, with the likes of Allen Iverson, Latrell Sprewell, Ricky Davis, Darius Miles, and Carmelo Anthony all rocking the 'do. Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs is the one notable name in today's era.
Jeremy Lin, who recently signed a three-year, $36-million contract with the Brooklyn Nets, is looking to help bring it back in a big way.
The 27-year-old showed off his new look during his introductory press conference with the franchise on Wednesday afternoon.
He later went into detail on what motivated him to braid his hair:
