DeAndre Jordan and Kevin Durant are teammates on the U.S. men's Olympic team heading to Rio de Janeiro, but once the NBA season gets underway, the two will become rivals competing for the championship as members of the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors, respectively.
The Clippers actually had a realistic shot at signing Durant in unrestricted free agency, as they were one of six teams he granted a meeting to before he elected to join the 73-win Warriors.
While Durant was answering questions from the media on Wednesday, Jordan jokingly interrupted and asked why he couldn't convince the four-time scoring champion to become a Clipper.
"Uh, I don't know. That's a ... we'll talk about that another time," Durant replied.
"Alright. Maybe tomorrow then," said Jordan.
