Celtics' Demetrius Jackson: Agrees to guaranteed deal with Celtics
Jackson has agreed to a guaranteed deal with the Celtics, Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports.
Analysis:
Drafted with the 45th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft Jackson was not guaranteed a roster spot with the club for the upcoming season. However, the Celtics have opted to continue deepening the depth of their squad as they float all their assets around for potential trades. Jackson posted just 5.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 16.6 minutes per game during summer league, but apparently showed enough to convince the Celtics to commit to him.
