76ers' Joel Embiid: 'I feel a hundred percent'
Embiid (foot) said Saturday that he feels "a hundred percent" healthy, Jessica Camerato of CSN Philadelphia reports.
Analysis:
During a team event, Embiid interacted with fans and revealed that he's not experiencing any issues with his surgically-repaired right foot as training camp approaches. The former No. 3 overall pick did acknowledge that he'll likely face some playing time restrictions in 2016-17, though he noted that it wouldn't be due to the organization's concern over re-injury and would rather be a product of the fact that he hasn't played in a game setting in two-plus years. Embiid remains somewhat of a wild card for the 76ers this season, but if he's able to conclude the campaign with his health intact, he has the potential to develop into a top-tier center down the road.
