Lakers' Julius Randle: Suffers laceration between fingers
Randle suffered a laceration between his right middle and ring fingers while practicing Monday. The Lakers will reevaluate his condition in approximately two weeks.
Analysis:
The injury is to Randle's non-shooting hand, so it's not being viewed as anything serious, though he did require seven stitches to close the wound. While he'll be held off the court until mid-September, Randle will still likely be able to perform cardio workouts, so he shouldn't be behind the rest of the team from a conditioning standpoint when training camp opens late next month.
